And today we come in with another Root, and we are proud to inform you that GTVHacker, and Team-Eureka have jointly discovered and exploited a new vulnerability in the Chromecast which allows root access on the current software build (17977) as well as new in box devices. Check here
Requirements
* Chromecast Device
* Teensy 2 or 2++
* Teensy 2 - https://www.pjrc.com/store/teensy.html
* Teesny 2++ - https://www.pjrc.com/store/teensypp.html
* Teensy Loader - https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/loader.html
* 1GB+ Flashdrive
* Files included in the zip
Instructions
1. First install the appropriate Teensy Root Package on your device.
* If New In Box device, use 12940 otherwise use 16664.
* Use plusplus_*.hex for 2++ model and regular_* hex for 2 model
2. Next using Win32Disklamger or dd, install the Flashcast Image to the 1G+ Flashdrive.
3. Then plug in the Teensy to a USB OTG Cable, and plug it into the Chromecast while holding down the reset button.
* The Teensy light should start flashing, If not, try the process again. After 30 seconds, it should go solid orange and the Chromecast LED should turn white.
4. Unplug the Teensy, then plug in the flashdrive loaded with Flashcast into the OTG cable, and then press the Chromecast button again.
* If you used the 12940 image, the LED should turn white. If you used the 16664 image, the LED should stay dim red.
5. After about 5 mins, the chromecast should reboot and your device should now be rooted.
As per the Root method you will have to use a powered OTG cable and will not work over a USB Hub. This is because the teensy needs to be directly connected to the Chromecast to work and can not go over a USB hub.
And In order to confirm that youre device is being rooted, just plug it on to your TV and you should see a flash message showing that your device is being rooted. If no Unplug your chromecast and try again.

Change the default search engine
Depending on what youre looking for, it could be a while you have to change the default search engine in your browser . To do so on a BlackBerry smartphone , please lakungan two easy steps:
1. Open the browser on your BlackBerry and enter keywords of content you want to search .
2. Once an icon that represents the default search engin appear in the upper right - hand corner , tap the icon , then from the drop - down list , please click your desired search engine ( google , yahoo , bing , etc ) .
Adding a new search engine
If your favorite search Engin , such as Wikipedia , are not in the browser on the BlackBerry 10 , do not worry because you always have the option to add it . You do this as follows :

2. Select a location / folder to save the file webpage
At other times when you want to display a webpage offline and you have saved , open the file manager , find the folder where you saved it , and then tap an existing HTML file .

Depending on the websites you visit , you can enable Desktop Mode so that the browser can display the same web but in the desktop version , not the mobile version .

2. Tap Settings , tap Developer Tools
3. Set Desktop Mode option to ON
Private browsing
As in the computer browser, Private Browsing feature you can use on BlackBerry phones to avoid cell phone store browsing information that you have done . With Private Mode , the history , cached files , cookies and the like will not be stored on your BlackBerry phone .

Most Internet Users Today use A Smartphone.
Sometimes its really painful when your device starts
malfunctioning and the last resort is to reset the
Phone.
Be careful. Resetting your phone will erase all content stored on your phone, including apps and games (along with
app data and game progress), text messages, call history, music, photos and more.
Windows Phones
To reset your phone
1. In the App list , tap Settings .
2. Tap About , then tap Reset your phone .
3. Youll receive two warnings. If youre absolutely sure you want to restore your phone to its factory settings, tap
Yes, then tap Yes again.
It might take a little while for the process to complete.
To reset an unresponsive phone:
If your phone is unresponsive and you cant reach Settings , you may be able to reset your phone using the hardware buttons. On Nokia Lumia phones (and some others), do the following to reset your phone:
1. Press and hold the Volume down and Power buttons at the same time until you feel a vibration (about 10-15 seconds).
2. When you feel the vibration, immediately press and hold the Volume down button until you see a large exclamation mark.
3. Once the exclamation mark appears, press the following four buttons in this order: Volume up , Volume down, Power , Volume down .
Your phone should now reset and restart itself. (It might take a while for the reset to finish.)
Android Phones
Each Phone Has Its restore method. The one that works for most phones.
Turn off the phone.
Hold the volume up button and power button at the same time.
Youll See An Android Logo
Tap Any Of The Buttons On Your Phone To Reveal A Secret Menu
Scroll Down To clear data/reset or clear eemcc (this might vary depending on the type of phone) and select it (try using volume up to select if it fails use the home key)
Scroll down to yes and select it.
It might take some time though
Your Phone Should Now Be Restored.
iPhone
Go to "Settings" Select "General" Scroll down to select "Reset". Here you will have various options, the main ones being:
Reset All Settings
Reset Network Settings
Erase All content and Settings
Selecting " Erase All Content and Settings" is what constitutes a Hard Reset.
Your phone will ask you to enter your passcode, and will then ask to confirm.
BlackBerry
There are 3 main ways to reset a Blackberry:
Method 1 (BlackBerry Z10 and the likes of it)
Remove the battery from the phone. You can perform a hard reset on the BlackBerry Z10 by pressing and holding the Power button on the top of the phone for about 10 seconds.
Reinsert the battery after a few seconds.
To be on the safe side, wait for up to 30 seconds and then reinsert the battery into the back of the phone.
Close the battery cover.
The BlackBerry should reboot and function normally. You
may have to power the BlackBerry back on with the Power button.
Method 2
Hold down these Keys in this order
Alt, Right Shift Key, Delete/Back Space
Method 3
Open the Options on your home screen. Performing a full factory reset, or security wipe, will remove all of your personal info and reset the phone to the state it was in when it was first turned on.
Select Security Settings. In the Security
Settings menu, select Security Wipe Choose what you want erased. Check the boxes for each of the items that you want wiped from the phone. If you want to completely erase your information, ensure that all of the boxes are checked.
Enter the code. To perform the wipe, you will need to enter the code. Type “blackberry” into the box and then select Wipe.
Wait for the phone to reboot.

I read in a forum some weeks back on how to transfer or move a personal facebook page to a business page, since i had three various facebook accounts i then decided to give one of my account a try. Immediately i changed my other account containing 631 friends to a fanpage. You can also decide to convert yours to a business page or a music band page, the choice all yours.

Checkout the procedures:
1. You log into your Profile
2. Open a another tab and go to this page:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php?migrate
3. You then find the ‘Migrate a Page’ Facebook page which like the normal ‘Create a Page’ Facebook page.
Facebook Profile to Business Page Migration
You will need to choose the kind of Page you wish to set up. Select Local, Brand,Business or Institution, etc.
After youve made your selection, only your (confirmed) contacts will be converted to people who ‘Like’ your new Page. Also your profile photo will be converted to your new Page.
The other content such as your uploaded photos, your wall content, etc will not be converted to your recent Business Page. So, before you make your choice, make sure you dowload your profile information! Click here to find out how.
Just after you have made your choice and have created your Page, you will still be able to log-in with your original email address and password.
So, you can now select a type of Page and create it!
4. You now see your new Page and the ‘Get started’ screen

As you can see, your profile picture is converted and your contacts are now converted to ‘Likes’ on your new Business Page.

Well, yes. It’s good to know that your old Personal Profile now does not exist anymore.
It became a Business Account.
The Business Account is still under your old email address and password. So you can log in to your new Business Page.
The Business Account allows you to adminiter your Pages and run ad campaigns.
Of course you can assign new admins to your Page, as well as operate your new Page ‘as a Page’. Which is one of the changes Facebook made when they launched the redesign of Facebook Pages.
